Siemens Offers Mobile Solutions

Car drivers in Germany’s capital Berlin and Austria’s capital Vienna can buy their parking tickets by mobile phone using the solution installed and operated by Siemens Business Services


The "pocket parking meter" solution is already in use in German cities Berlin and Paderborn as well as Vienna and ten further Austrian cities. Anyone wishing to use the new system registers via the internet or in written form and is then sent a registration card to be affixed to the inside of the windscreen, where it is in clear view to meter maids.
