Gates Has Mobile Visions

I don't know how futuristic this thinking is, these visions are already being adopted.

From Sydney Morning Herald Gates says mobile will become the digital wallet

Microsoft Chairman Bill Gates has sketched out a vision for the future in which a mobile phone will become a "digital wallet," able to get email and even scan business cards.

Nokia and Motorola have phones that allow you to wave your phone at checkout terminals for purchases. They also have phones that will be able to read RFID tags.

OP3 and their ShotCode allow mobile phones to scan business cards now.
