OmniPrime's mobile ticketing service, TicketTXT allows moviegoers to purchase cinema tickets 24/7 using only their cellphones.
A subscriber keys in the required codes to an access number by choosing the movie he wants to watch and the number of tickets he wishes to purchase.
In seconds, he gets a two-dimensional bar code or Data Matrix, also called an Omni code, on his mobile screen as a confirmation of his payment, which is automatically deducted from his Smart Money account. The bar code is scanned and validated on the EXIO mobile scanner at the SM cinema, which prints out the ticket to be presented to the cinema porter
