It is interesting to see which of these companies are getting bought out and by whom. I am encouraged to see the multiple they are paying too.
Sybase Inc., a maker of corporate-infrastructure and mobile software, watched its shares fall over 4% on Wednesday after it agreed to acquire privately held Mobile 365 for $425 million in cash.
Mobile 365, based in Chantilly, Va., generated revenue of some $90 million in its fiscal year that ended March 31. The company will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Sybase.
Mobile 365 delivers mobile data and messaging, premium content, and value-added services to customers that include mobile operators, content providers, media companies and financial institutions. The firm has offices across the globe and reaches nearly 700 wireless operators
