The official placement of 4INFO's mobile search started today in USA TODAY.
4INFO was smart. They chose a national paper to launch their search app in.
Their ads are placed on the front of the Sports and Weather sections.
Gannett, which is the parent of USA TODAY and a big media conglomerate, just bought a minority stake in 4INFO.
What you are seeing is an old medium trying to transform their business with new media application.
If I was News Corp, you know what I would do to counter this?
