One Click Access Mobile Search

Isn't it ironic that Microsoft announces they will have a search engine that is better than Google's , the day after Google says the big growth in PC search is slowing.

From Cellular News Google talks up mobile search push

Ahead of Google's annual analyst day, which kicks off later Thursday, a company product executive underscored the search engine's desire to penetrate the non-PC market by being on the homepage of mobile devices.

The ability for users to have "one-click access" to Google services on mobile phones is "pretty important," said Deep Nishar, director, product management at Google, at a RBC Capital Markets conference, held Thursday morning.

How can Google get their search window on every phone? It can be as easy as an SMS response with a link to download.

Google can put a link on home search page that sends a text to your mobile for installation.

Google will show (again), that you don't need an operating system (OS) to dominate search on 2 billion devices.

PP: Why the Heinz ketchup bottle? Type 'Heinz' in a Google or MSN or Yahoo search window (mobile or otherwise) and this keyword doesn't take ME to Heinz ketchup. That's a problem, isn't it. Comments?

The bottle was using the analogy of "catch up"..Microsoft is always playing catch up to Google.

Next time I will post an image that makes my point clearer.

Does Google do this now? If so, where do I get it?

Thanks.
