Internext Show This Weekend Offers Physical World Connection

The Internext Summer 2005 show will be held this weekend at the Westin Diplomat in Ft. Laud. There's a physical world connection technology I would like to see in action from Xobile.

Xobile, and their leapSCAN technology utilizes a proprietary software application that allows a consumer to scan a barcode with a mobile phone camera and instantly receive a preview of a DVD movie trailer on their mobile phone via the internet.

Xobile has already licensed it to adult industry movie giant Vivid Entertainment and will begin issuing other licenses in the near future.

leapSCAN™ works with a specially created barcode on a DVD box, computer screen, television or any other surface.

To demonstrate that capability Xobile will invite visitors to its Internext booth (#511) to scan barcodes tattooed (temporarily) onto Miss Daytona USA, Meg Perkins

If any companies at this conference that want to get their story out through an email or personal interview, EMAIL ME

What are the thoughts out there that Xobile would be licensing their "LeapScan Optical Intelligence" technology from ScanBuy? They also call their (copyrighted) barcode scanning technology "Optical Intelligence".

Then, one step further...What are the thoughts out there that since "Xobile" typed into NeoMedia's demo "Go Window" takes you directly to Xobile's WAP site, this would indicate that ScanBuy is in the process of settling (or have settled) their patent infringement case w/ NeoMedia...in NeoMedia's favor?

Only real question is--where's the barcode going to be located on this lovely lady?! Heck....sex sells, or more precisely, sex sells FIRST in any new venue LOL. Gambling, of course, is a close second.

I'm trying to get into this conference and speak to Xobile.

To be honest I don't feel like paying $500 for one interview. The Internext conference is a hop and skip from me, and I would love to tell their story.

We'll see....
